Roman Theater
The Roman theater, of which only one-third is preserved, was built around the year 218 AD.
It has been moved from its original location between the East gate of the city and the large L-shaped temple to its current location near the sea.
The black stones in the center of the theater replace a mosaic of Bacchus, transferred to the National Museum in Beirut. Events such as theatrical performances, choirs, and solemn speeches took place in this type of monument.
